As the HOD of your delegation please complete the Intent to Participate to request registration for your Delegation for this years Special Olympics Maine State Bowling Competition – 2026 Bowling Intent to Participate 
 
Please complete the following with your Delegation’s interest in participating in our 2026 Special Olympics Maine State 10-pin bowling competition. Delegations with athletes in both age brackets (22 & Over and 21 & Under) will be required to submit this form for each tournament (One for 22 & over athletes/coaches and one for all 21 & under athletes/coaches) 
 
Registration will close Monday, October 26th 
 
Required Paperwork: 
Complete ALL required forms below for Athletes, Coaches, Volunteers & Unified Partners prior to the event if you have not already done so. 
  
All athletes are required to complete our Athlete Intake Form. One year from the signature date the form expires and process transitions to a yearly one page Athlete Renewal Form. 
 
All HODs, Assistant Coaches, Unified Partners or Volunteers must have the following -  

Complete Special Olympics Maine Class A Volunteer & Unified Partner Registration Form (one time only) 

Complete a Sterling Background Check (expires every 3 years) 

Complete Protective Behaviors Training (expires every 3 years) 

*Unified Partners under 18 years old or enrolled in High School only need to complete Class A Volunteer Form 

 
Each Delegation must also have one certified tennis Head Coach and have the forms listed above in addition to the following -  

Concussion Training (expires every 3 years)  

Special Olympics Maine sport specific training (expires every 3 years)
